After some exciting visits with the children of Room 11 it was time for Fiona to take Sir T. on holiday. On Easter Saturday they flew out from Nelson Airport and headed to Cairns via Auckland. It was a fantastic trip that lasted nine sleeps. During that time Sir Travelot visited Paranella Park on the Atherton Tablelands. This was a great place to feed the fish and eels. There were also freshwater turtles here..
The waterfalls were mgnificent as this one shows.

The Tjapaki cultural park was a great place to learn about throwing a boomerang and spears.

We went on a trip to Kuranda using the train and saw some great views. When we got there we meet some local wildlife and went home again on the gondola.

There was also a visit to Green Island and Fiona and Murray went scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Unfortunately Sir Travelot is too small for the aqualungs so he had to stay on land. The final treat was to find an Aussie friend to come home to Room 11 to listen to the great reading that goes on here.

Amelia had a lot of fun

At the beginning of April it was Amelia's turn to have Sir T. over for the weekend. They certainly fitted in a lot of activities including story time, playing with Barbie and cuddles with mum. The highlight was a fishing trip to the Motueka wharf.
